PINA is the world leader supplier of saffron packed for retail and foodservice formats.
The company quality system is certified to ISO 9001 since May 2000 and to BRC since November 2009.
PINA is the first saffron company to be certified to supply Organic saffron according to EU Council Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91 and Fair Trade saffron as per FLO-certification.

From 2003 PINA started and patented an innovative process to dehydrate saffron based on freeze-drying technology.
Global saffron selects and makes a first quality analysis of saffron batches, but the complete analysis is carried out at PINA’s premises in Novelda (Alicante), Spain. We guarantee the purity and security of our saffron by a quality system, certified by ISO 9001/2008, BRC and a HACCP programme.
